Zhao Qiong is a seasoned expert in mineral exploration and development with over 18 years of hands-on experience in the geological and mining industry. Holding a bachelor's degree in Resource Exploration Engineering, he is a certified Senior Geological and Mineral Resources Engineer with a deep technical foundation and a strong track record of delivering complex exploration projects across China.


Since beginning his career in 2007, Zhao has led a wide range of exploration and evaluation projects involving both metallic and non-metallic minerals—including gold, silver, copper, lead-zinc, molybdenum, tungsten, niobium-tantalum, lithium, fluorite, and kaolin. His expertise spans the full mineral development lifecycle, from early-stage geological surveys and technical reporting to mineral rights management, resource evaluation, environmental rehabilitation, and strategic investment and acquisition.

Zhao has successfully managed numerous high-value projects, coordinating extensive field operations, overseeing multiphase drilling and sampling programs, and producing high-quality exploration and feasibility reports that have contributed directly to resource classification and mine development decisions.

In recent years, he has also provided due diligence and technical advisory services for mining acquisitions, supporting the strategic growth of client portfolios. His contributions have played a pivotal role in several successful mergers and acquisitions of gold and copper properties in Gansu, Inner Mongolia, and Guangxi.

Recognized for his technical excellence and leadership, Zhao is a registered expert in the Fujian Provincial Expert Database for both mine environmental restoration and natural resources. He is also a published author of multiple academic papers on mineralization processes, hydrothermal systems, and uranium prospecting techniques.

With a reputation for integrity, diligence, and precision, Zhao combines strong project management skills with a collaborative mindset. Outside of work, he is an avid sports enthusiast with a particular passion for basketball—bringing the same energy and discipline from the court into every professional endeavor.
